Explore the Ria Formosa, one of the most beautiful natural parks in the world, with Boat for a Day! Hop on board your very own Algarve boat tour and discover quiet islands, beaches lined with fine golden sand, crystal-clear water.

Go explore the deep blue sea, and so much more. You'll set off from the traditional town of Olhão or Faro, for a half-day or a full-day boat tour and see the wonders of the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

With a maximum capacity of six people, plus Our Captain, enjoy a romantic boat tour or a fun-filled day out for the whole family – special vests are available for children and even pets are welcome! Just let us know in advance if any four-legged sea-lovers will be joining us.

Your vessel

Your Boat for a Day has two boats available, a Sunsix & a Karnic speedboats, equipped with a GPS locator and navigation logs for your safety. Its navigation limit is 6 miles from a shelter port.

Rental conditions

You can cancel your trip up to 7 days before, but no refund of the 25% will be made.

It makes all the difference when this type of tours is done by a skipper like ours because you see that you love what you do! Richard did not just walk us, in addition to all the explanations he gave us where we walked along the beaches until the birds showed us tb on his own phone! Had an amazing day spent exploring the Ria Formosa park with Boat For A Day. Everything was organised easily by João with the location point being sent to us the day prior. Also Richard, our guide, was lovely, he took us off the coast to see the dolphins and back inland for a swim, whilst providing us with plenty of facts about the area. We would definitely book again and having experienced another boat trip with a different company would prioritise coming with the Boat For A Day team 100%

This is the best boat company! I did a lot of research to try to find a private tour that would accommodate our preferences and this company did not disappoint. Save your time and just reserve with them! They gave us 5 star service, adapted the itinerary to our liking and gave us a truly magical day. The booking process was easy and they answered all my questions and responded very quickly via email and gave us details on where to have free secure parking. The boat was spotless and they catered to us like we were celebrities. My husband said it was his favourite experience of our 2 week holiday in Portugal. Thank you to our captains for making a such memorable day for us!
